My beautiful friend Ivy from Belgrade Serbia submitted the following question. She asked will God send Seraphim angels to watch over me? Obviously I cannot answer this question definitively yes or no, however I should point out that no where in the Bible does is state that the Seraphim act as guardian angels. In fact the reason why the Seraphim angels are ranked as the highest order, is because they are pure spirits that have no contact with the earth or humanity. The Seraphim angels never leave the presence of God, as they hover around his throne, and sing to each other the Seraphim song, also known as the Trisagion. I can also state with much confidence that even with noncanonical scripture throughout all three of the Abrahamic religions, you will not find any references to the Seraphim acting as guardian angels. I would say that only within the realm of fiction do they serve in this role. Thanks Ivy for the very interesting question.
