For those of you who are not already aware, the Christian, Islamic, and Judaic angelic hierarchies are all different, albeit loosely based on one another. Within the Jewish angelic hierarchy itself, the Seraphim are the fifth highest ranking angelic order, out of ten separate classes. The Seraphim also hold a significant value within Orthodox Judaism, Conservative Judaism, Reform Judaism, and even Reconstructionist Judaism. Many of the Jewish prayers feature the Seraphim and their song that was mentioned in the Old Testament Book of Isaiah. Lastly I would also like to point out that thanks to the Jews and Judaism, we have all of these angelic heavenly beings to look upon in awe.
