My good old friend Mauricio from Buenos Aires Argentina personally sent me the following question. He asked was King Uzziah ruler of the old Kingdom of Judah? The answer is yes, he was the ruler or king of the Kingdom of Judah. The King Uzziah, also known as Azariah, translated means Yahweh is my strength. He was one of Amaziah's sons, and who the people of Judah chose to replace Amaziah to be the new ruler of the time. This is detailed in the Old Testament Book of 2 Kings Chapter 14 verse 21, and further in the Book of 2 Chronicles Chapter 26 verse 1. It is also important to note that King Uzziah is one of the kings stated to have been a direct ancestor of Jesus Christ himself, all laid out in the New Testament Book of Matthew. How this is relevant to the Seraphim, is that Isaiah states that when he had his vision of these angels it was the same year that King Uzziah died, allowing the reader to know precisely when it all took place.
