I have indeed seen the beautiful illuminated manuscript that features the Seraphim angels. The name of this work of art is Petites Heures de Jean de Berry, which was created in the 14th century. The manuscript itself features two red six winged Seraphim angels hovering in front of God's throne. The angels are represented in the typical Eastern Orthodox style, with their whole bodies being covered with their wings, and a golden halo behind their heads. Behind them and sitting at a slight elevation is God himself, wearing a long flowing pastel colored robe, and also having a golden halo behind his head. The surrounding backdrop is done in a dark blue color made out of an ivy or flowery pattern.
