so much about this particular book, is that the way Anne tells the story, it becomes easy to believe in the concept of angels or celestial beings, even if you're rather cynical towards the concept to start with. If you love angels, or are deeply intrigued by the concept of the Seraphim rank of angels, then this is definitely a novel that you will want to read. If you haven't read any of Anne's books before then this one will definitely get you hooked. I will say no more, as I don't want to spoil the experience of reading it yourself. I've been a huge fan of Anne Rice's work for years, and this book lived up to the high standard that she set for herself. I just finished reading Angel Time The Songs of the Seraphim, and was impressed every page of the way through it.
